I wanted to write to thank you for coming to my house last night a recovering the data from my broken G4.

After you had left, I had no problems at all after you had left. I scanned the disk and it reported that there weren't any problems. The photos quickly loaded into iPhoto. Even the iTunes files loaded themselves, although I needed to upgrade my version of the software. (My old G4 was apparently running a newer verison of iTunes than the new iMac came with.)

Several times I thought we were not going to be able to get the data off my hard drive, but you impressed me in that you always had a back-up plan. I was especially impressed with the idea of getting the empty external hard disk shell after the store didn't have the specific Firewire cable we needed.

I wrote all of my friends on Facebook and included a link to your website, telling them how you were able to save my data and that I fully recommended you. I hope it wil be able to bring more work your way.

Thank you Derek for all your help. Sorting out those little and big issue has really set me up at a time when I'm too busy to do things my normal paint drying/glacial learning pace. Now I feel Im in the driving seat and although not quite sure how to drive at least i know to push the pedals and go.
I hope one day to get to one of your music events.
